Infrared thermography can be used either as a diagnostic tool for evaluating the integrity of major mechanical equipment, such as HVAC systems, plant or process machinery or backup power systems for example, prior to building purchase. Thermography may also be used to successfully trend equipment over time to optimize preventative maintenance schedules and avoid equipment down time due to unscheduled repairs. |
